The inaugural vintage was big and powerful. Episode 2002 is less powerful and more elegant. Reflecting on the 2001 vintage in a recent article, one wine critic observed, "This rare super premium Bordeaux blend from the Terlato family has got Opus in its sights! Flavors are delivered in waves of pretty fruits, blackberry, cherry, plum and currants with hints of cassis, licorice and cedar. The wine is very complete and soulful, giving you the essence of a first-growth Bordeaux." (Rated 94 )

Episode is only bottled in years when it meets the very highest standards, and in limited quantities about 400 cases in six-bottle wood cases.
